How to Play First Person Blackjack

Six steps from chip placement to dealer reveal. 99.29% RTP with basic strategy, 3:2 blackjack, Perfect Pairs to 25:1, 21+3 to 100:1.

1

Place Your Main Bet

Open First Person Blackjack and place your chip on the main betting circle. Range: $1 to $5,000. The chip stays put for every hand until you change it. Side bet circles (Perfect Pairs, 21+3) sit beside the main circle — optional separate wagers.

2

Receive Two Cards

First Person Blackjack deals you two cards face-up. Dealer takes two cards too — one face-up (upcard), one face-down (hole card). Add your two card values (J/Q/K = 10, Ace = 1 or 11). Your goal: reach 21 or beat dealer without going over.

3

Choose Your Action

Hit (take another card), Stand (keep total), Double (double bet + one card), or Split (separate pair into two hands). Basic strategy chart tells you the math-optimal action for every combo. First Person Blackjack returns 99.29% when you follow it. Insurance is offered when dealer shows Ace — always decline.

4

Side Bet Resolution

Perfect Pairs and 21+3 side bets resolve immediately after your first two cards are dealt (and dealer upcard is revealed). Perfect Pair pays 5:1 to 25:1, 21+3 pays 5:1 to 100:1. These resolve independently of main hand outcome.

5

Dealer Plays Out Hand

After your decisions, dealer reveals hole card and plays. Dealer must HIT on totals 16 or less, STAND on soft 17 (Ace + 6) and above. Dealer can't double, split, or fold — strictly mechanical play. Dealer bust rate: ~28% (with 7+ upcard) to 42% (with 6 upcard).

6

Win, Lose, or Push

Higher total without busting wins. Blackjack (two-card 21) pays 3:2 unless dealer also has blackjack (push). Standard win pays 1:1. Push: bet returned. Bust: bet lost. Tap "Go Live" anytime to transition to an Evolution live dealer table with the same rules.

Key Features

Eight-Deck Shoe

First Person Blackjack uses 8 standard 52-card decks (416 cards). Auto-shuffled each round — card counting is impossible. Multi-deck shoes flatten edge to ~0.71% with basic strategy.

Perfect Pairs Side Bet

First Person Blackjack's pair side bet — three tiers from Mixed (5:1) to Perfect Pair (25:1). Resolves on your first two cards regardless of main hand outcome.

21+3 Side Bet

First Person Blackjack's poker-flavored side bet. Your two cards + dealer upcard form a 3-card poker hand. Suited Three of a Kind pays 100:1 — the top side-bet payout.

Basic Strategy

First Person Blackjack's recommended play. Hit hard 4-11 always, stand hard 17+, double 9/10/11 vs weak dealer cards, always split Aces and 8s, never split 5s or 10s. Returns 99.29%.

Go Live Transition

First Person Blackjack's seamless RNG-to-live switch. One tap transfers your chip stack to an Evolution live dealer Blackjack table with identical rules. Practice RNG, play live when ready.

Dealer Stands Soft 17

First Person Blackjack uses the player-friendly S17 rule (dealer must stand on soft 17). Improves player RTP by ~0.2% vs H17 tables. The optimal Blackjack rules combination.

Strategy Quick-Reference

Always: Split Aces and 8s. Double hard 11 vs any dealer card (except Ace). Double hard 10 vs dealer 2-9. Hit hard 4-11 every time.

Never: Split 5s (just double the 10), 10s (you have 20 — stand), or 4s. Take Insurance. Stand on hard 12 vs dealer 7 or higher.

Side bets: House edge 5-9%. Treat as variance chasing — bet 10-20% of main wager max. Suited 21+3 (100:1) is fun but rare (~0.02% hit rate).

Going Live: Practice basic strategy in RNG mode until it's automatic. Then Go Live for streamed-dealer immersion at any time.
